Job Description

The position will provide a quality, caring and supportive environment for children by effectively planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences which advance the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of children in a safe and healthy learning environment.  The Lead Teacher will encourage and support the development of relationships between children and their families.

The Lead Teacher will guide the teaching assistant and facilitate a team teaching environment.

Line Cook

Department:      Food Service

Reports to:         Kitchen Manager

 Summary of Position:

Under the general supervision of the Kitchen Manager, the Line Cook is responsible to see that children are served nutritious and appealing meals, daily.  These meals should be prepared by methods that fall within the guidelines of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the SFSP (Summer Food Service Program).  It is the cooks A line cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food various stations/areas of the kitchen (i.e., fry, prep).
