Early Learning Center

Upper Room Early Learning Center is a private, non-profit center located in Kansas City, Missouri. Since its inception in 2002, the center has provided quality Early Childhood Literacy based educational services for families in the community.

PROGRAMS OFFERED

Infants: 6 weeks – 12 months
Toddlers: 12 months – 2 years
Early Preschool: 2 – 3 years
Preschool: 3 – 4 years
Pre-Kindergarten: 4 – 4.5 years
Kindergarten Enrichment (transitional): 4.5 – 5 years

At the Upper Room Early Learning Center, we are dedicated to serving the needs of young children by providing high-quality, culturally diverse early childhood programming within a safe, nurturing environment. The center will encourage the physical, social, emotional, creative, and cognitive development of each child through the use of developmentally appropriate practices while ensuring parents’ peace of mind in the care and services we render.

OUR PROGRAM

We promote children to become lifelong learners. Our Early Learning Center uses a developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on the whole child and emphasizes the development of literacy. The child’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills develop through:

Active exploration and investigation
Personal discovery
Reorganization of the physical environment
Support from adults
